About
Cybersecurity professional with 13+ years of experience, and founder and CEO of Cyberpedia, a cybersecurity company and the first Arabic-language cybersecurity training platform. My work centers on building Security Operations Centers (SOCs) and protection solutions, alongside hands-on expertise in penetration testing, networking, wireless security, malware analysis, and Python. I train information security and cybersecurity diploma programs at leading Saudi universities, including Prince Muqrin University. Over the years I have trained 5,000+ students, written 30+ professional books and 500+ articles, and I’m recognized as the first Arabic cybersecurity content creator and a public cybersecurity voice in Syria. I’m open to training partnerships, consulting, and security projects across the region.
Projects
Cyberpedia Security Platform: Architecture for an AI-Powered SOC
Most organizations in Syria cannot afford or access global security products, which leaves them without asset visibility, vulnerability tracking, or centralized monitoring. I set out to design an in-house, affordable security platform for the local market that grows step by step into a complete SOC, with each capability delivered as its own product on an open-source foundation.

Experience
Founder & CEO · SOC Team Leader
Founded and lead Cyberpedia, a cybersecurity company and the first Arabic cybersecurity training platform. I lead the security operations and engineering work: designing and building SOCs and protection solutions, leading penetration testing engagements and consolidated reporting, and preparing incident response services and playbooks for clients. I also design the company’s training curricula (Blue Team, Red Team, GRC, cloud, web and network penetration testing), run the cybersecurity bootcamp, and manage a team of trainers and penetration testers. Grew the platform from a first course of 6 students to more than 5,000 trainees.
